Welcome To The Lion
The Lion is a community pub with a large restaurant, public bar, sun terrace and large garden to the rear of the Pub.
The Garden offers a great area for families to enjoy the warm weather. We are currently in the process of designing and building a cottage garden that we hope to use the “crop” in our restaurant but it will be a spectacle for you to enjoy.
Our food is sourced locally and New Owner and Chef Shaun who worked with Gary Rhodes, Anthony Worral Thompson and The ex Executive Chef from the Savoy Anton Alderman, will be showing his skills and passion for food with a menu based on Modern British and Mediterranean influences.
From the bar we are show casing local wines, ciders and cask ales. The Lion is now a Free House which allows us the flexibility to broaden our offering.
